I am very excited to be part of the Southwestern Family as a teacher. I attended Southwestern from Kindergarten until I graduated in 2008. I love being involved at school. I love to attend as many sporting events as possible. I am the Spell Bowl Team Leader. Hi, my name is Matt Campbell. I am originally from Seymour, IN. I graduated from Johnson University in 2010 and went through the Transition to Teaching program at Indiana Wesleyan University majoring in Secondary English Education. This is my first teaching job and I am excited to work with everyone in the Southwestern community.

I'm originally from Greensburg and was raised on a farm 20 minutes west of town. I went to University of Indianapolis and graduated with Chemistry Education. This will be my third year teaching and am very excited about the upcoming 15-16 school year at Southwestern. I can't wait for the year to get underway!

'Hi! I am Miss. Donovan, and I am so excited to be teaching 6th grade language arts! This will be my 7th year teaching but my 1st year in 6th grade. I taught 5th grade for three years, 1st grade for two, and 4th grade for one. I was born in Indianapolis and have lived in Indiana my whole life. I currently live with my twin daughters Paris and Monroe who are going to be 4th graders here at Southwestern. I love teaching because I love making learning fun for others students! Hi, my name is Carolyn Dunigan and this is my ninth year as PLATO Lab Instructor. I enjoy working with students “one on one” in grades 9-12, helping them prepare for their ECA tests and doing credit recovery classes. I am so proud of each and every one that I have had the privilege to assist. Being a co-sponsor of S.A.D.D. is also a nice way to get to know students out of the classroom. Both of my sons are Southwestern graduates, and we recently welcomed a new granddaughter who may someday be a Spartan as well!!

Hello! I'm Ashley Fivecoat and this year I will be the Title I Director, Curriculum Coordinator, and Testing Coordinator. I'm excited to be working with students from all grade levels and helping bridge some gaps in Reading and Math. This will be my 9th year as a member of Spartan Nation and I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us!

I teach Life Skills at SWE! I graduated from Southwestern in 2015. I continued my academics at Indiana University Purdue University Columbus. This is my third year teaching at Southwestern and am excited for the 2022-2023 school year.

Hello, my name is Chris Ingels. This is my first year as a teacher at Southwestern, however I spent four winters here as a basketball coach while I was in college. Upon graduation from Franklin College I spent four years at South Dearborn High School and two years at Perry Meridian High School. I will be the boy's JV basketball coach this winter. In my free time I enjoy traveling, watching sporting events, and playing golf. I am excited to be a Spartan!

Hello, my name is Kendall Mangrum. I am returning to Southwestern after graduating from here in 2017. I went to Indiana University in Bloomington and earned a B.S. degree in Informatics with minors in Computer Science and Public Health. I am excited to be back at Southwestern and give back to the community that helped shape me!

Hi! My name is Vanessa McManaway and I teach art at SWE. I graduated from IUPUI Herron School of Art and Design with a Bachelors in Art Education. I love the outdoors, sports and all animals. I am excited for an amazing year!

I am a transplant from San Antonio, Texas where I had lived all of my life. My wife, Sara, and I moved here when she began her job for Cummins in June of 2012 and I began working for Shelbyville as a temporary English teacher in August. After finishing the year with Shelbyville, I decided to look for another job and, luckily, ended up here. In our free time, my wife and I enjoy traveling, watching movies and sports. I am really pleased to have landed here at Southwestern and can't imagine a better group of teachers and students to work with! Hello! My name is Caleb Tennell! I am a 2017 graduate of Southwestern High School. I attended Franklin College and Western Governors University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I love sports, spending time with friends and family, food, and of course, teaching! I am so excited to continue my life as a Spartan! Welcome to Kindegarten!

My name is Madi and I am always up for a new adventure. I went to school at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. I am actively involved in my local church; being a youth sponsor to our teenagers and singing on the church worship team. I love spending time with my family and friends, playing games, cards, hanging out and playing video games. Crafting and baking is something that comes naturally that I enjoy. Going to school every day is fun, rewarding and I love spending my day with you kiddo.

I am from New Castle Indiana and graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 2008. During high school I was secretary of student government, a member of show choir, and worked at Mancino's Pizza. Every summer from 7th grade to senior year I detasseled corn. After high school I made the big 20 mile move to Muncie where I attended Ball State University. While going to Ball State I was an active member of Cardinal Association of Teacher of Science and Phi Mu Sorority. I graduated in December of 2012 with a degree in Biology Education. I have taught at Southwestern for the past two years and have really enjoyed my time here. Last year I started as the science academic team coach.

I really enjoy teaching each of these classes and I also am happy to be the faculty sponsor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Hello! My name is Kim Williams. This is my 12th year at Southwestern. The first few years I was here, I had EVERY student from 1st grade through 10th grade for PE and/or Health. Over the years, my classes have changed and now I get the pleasure of teaching all the 7th through 10th grade girls for both PE and Health. I LOVE teaching about food and nutrition because I love to eat and cook! Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 3 children...the oldest two go to school in Waldron. They are also very active with Cub Scouts/Boys Scouts, tennis, basketball, and 4-H.
